New York: Governor Hochul approved laws to extend the protections to domestic workers

In the last week of 2021, Governor Hochul approved a pair of new laws to extend the protections of state’s human rights law to domestic workers, as well as to expand New York’s paid family leave benefit to include domestic workers who work at least 20 hours per week.
