Democrats and Republicans have come together to propose a temporary expansion of the Child Tax Credit.
This rare act of bipartisanship could create a monumental step towards reducing child poverty. Experts say it could lift as many as 400,000 children above the poverty line and make an additional 3 million children better off this year.
We need to pressure Congress ASAP to get this across the finish line before the end of January so families can start accessing the tax credit THIS tax season!
