At the National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA), we work everyday to win and build power for the domestic worker movement. We do this through an innovative, multi-pronged approach that includes focusing on cultural and narrative change, policy, politics and economics in order to ensure domestic workers are centered and leading the movement for respect and change.

All of this would not be possible without the work of the NDWA staff who are mission-driven, hardworking and not daunted by the challenges of organizing a disaggregated, formerly and presently excluded workforce. NDWA is proud to be one of the few women of color led organizations of our size and our multiracial staff intentionally mirrors the domestic worker communities we organize.

We offer our staff generous benefits including:

  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Access to an FSA and DCA
  • 401k retirement plan
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Paid holidays and 2x year office closures
  • Generous vacation and sick leave policies

NDWA also understands the significance of having staff who are leaders in their field and endeavors to encourage innovation and creativity by offering professional development opportunities and a fully paid 2 month sabbatical after 5 years of service for staff to use to rest, reflect and recharge.
