Join NDWA’s Georgia chapter in Atlanta on May 1 for a powerful day of action, as we say no to business as usual; no work, no school, no shopping.
Care workers, parents, families, and supporters are coming together to make our demands clear: Georgia must say YES to full funding for care for working families, and NO to cuts to care that are funding cuts and rollbacks to our democracy.
On May 1, we will first gather together as child care providers, home care workers, and care advocates to raise our vision for a better care economy with key decision makers, then rally with hundreds of others for a new future.
Let’s show our people what’s possible when we stand up for each other.
Register here to join us—we’ll be in touch soon with meet-up details and more.
A core principle behind all NDWA events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
