Sharing Domestic Worker Lessons in India

This week leaders from NDWA as part of the United Worker Congress arrived in New Delhi, India to share stories and strategies from workers not protected under current US labor law with leaders of the Indian trade union movement and social movements.The delegation includes visits with SEWA (Self-Employed Women’s Association) Delhi – SEWA has 1.3 million women members across India who are domestic workers, street vendors, home based workers, and small producers such as farmers and milk producers.
