Position Summary: 

The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) is seeking a Digital Advertising Specialist to join a small but mighty digital team. The Digital Advertising Specialist will work closely with the Digital team and collaborate with various other internal teams and external consultants to plan, buy, and optimize media, delivering on both awareness, lead generation and fundraising goals. You’ll help scale our media budget, devise cross-channel campaigns, and build on our analytic capabilities. This position will serve as the internal owner of digital media purchases across paid search (Google Ads - Paid and Grant, Bing), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), display, retargeting, and other channels.

Responsibilities: 
  • Set and meet program goals for Digital, Field and key initiative teams through digital advertising platforms and inbound marketing tactics, including managing budget for investments, overseeing relationships with vendors, commissioning advertising content, establishing testing strategy, and ensuring program is optimized to meet campaign and annual targets
  • Manage paid marketing campaigns (Facebook, Google, Instagram, Youtube, Bing, LinkedIn, Craigslist.) from conception to execution to analysis including the use of targeted advertising tactics to reach key audiences and to increase digital leads
  • Develop, design and execute ad campaigns ensuring that ad copy, CTA’s and ad creative are closely integrated with the NDWA digital campaign program — including writing ad copy, designing ad creative, determining audience segmentation, and implementing ad tracking pixels/codes
  • Track and analyze the performance of paid media buys to guide conversion rate optimization for ads and make recommendations for design optimizations for ad landing pages
  • Utilize data to better understand key target audiences, audience insights and audience needs in order to determine how to reach and engage our target audiences to breakthrough with key programs and messages
  • Identify opportunities for improving the quality of creative assets used in the campaign including keywords used in online ads
  • Design a structured experimentation process that allows us to optimize the impact of our programs and share those insights with other NDWA teams
  • Generate campaign and monthly reports ensuring all KPIs are being effectively tracked and reported for all digital initiatives
  • Utilize current SEM/SEO best practices
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions to improve current campaign performance and ROI
Job Requirements: 
  • You have proven experience (2-4 years) on an internal marketing or digital agency team with demonstrated tactical excellence in at least one of the following acquisition or engagement channels: Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), SEM, Email, Display or Retargeting
  • You are a hands-on, high capacity doer, multi-tasker who is self-directed and enjoys taking initiative
  • You have strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills; you must be very comfortable with data analysis and enjoy working with data to understand performance, optimize campaigns, drive decisions, and measure results
  • You are an effective communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and editing skills
  • You have the ability to clearly communicate objectives, strategy, and performance results across cross-functional teams
  • You are extremely well-organized with an ability to juggle multiple projects and meet many short- and long-term deadlines
  • You have fluency in some (or all) commonly used tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), Google Analytics, etc.
  • You have a working knowledge of visual design and video editing tools (Photoshop, etc)
  • You are an emotionally intelligent and collaborative teammate, happy working in a fast-moving remote-work team
  • You are detail-oriented and highly motivated
  • You have experience with, and curiosity about, trying new technologies and testing to learn and improve our work
