The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) is seeking an energetic, flexible and highly organized Creative Operations Associate to provide administrative and logistical support to the Creative Operations team and the organization.
NDWA is the leading national voice for dignity and fairness for domestic workers in the United States. Founded in 2007 by domestic workers and organizers from around the country, NDWA works for the respect, recognition, and inclusion in labor protections of domestic and home care workers across the country. We’re winning improved working conditions while building a powerful movement rooted in the human rights, dignity and equality of domestic workers, home care workers, immigrant women and Black women.
Our national alliance has grown from a founding group of 13 organizations to more than 60 affiliate organizations, plus local chapters developed by NDWA in Atlanta, Durham, Washington DC and New York City, and a robust individual online membership. Internally, during that time we have grown from a staff of 1 to a staff of around 150!
The Creative Operations Associate will work with the Creative Operations team to update the organization’s internal infrastructure and create systems to sustain and carry the organization’s growth. They will primarily be responsible for 1) performing day to day administrative duties in support of all staff and the Creative Operations team, 2) supporting onsite management of NDWA’s national office located in NYC and 3) supporting the coordination of the Creative Operations team’s projects and initiatives.
