Changing Our Narrative to Create Power: The History of Marta*

Are you interested in learning how our stories can make a difference through liberation and social justice? Join us for this workshop where we’ll share how to organize to grow our base through art and culture, utilizing narrative power and creative writing tactics as a strategy. This work focuses on organizing at the border and aims to shift perceptions of women, immigrants, and domestic workers. We harness the power of storytelling and cultural strategy to challenge dominant narratives rooted in our community, proposing narratives of empathy and long-term care.
