NDWA Chosen as Regional Winner for CLASSY Awards

We couldn’t be prouder to announce that the National Domestic Workers Alliance was chosen as a Regional Winner in the 4th Annual CLASSY Awards.

We want to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of you who took the time to vote for NDWA, everyone who encouraged others to vote, and everyone who shared the voting site on social media.

Being chosen as a CLASSY Award Regional Winner is a testament to the courage and determination of the thousands of everyday heroines who make up NDWA. Domestic workers have stood up and won crucial labor protections like the New York Domestic Workers Bill of Rights and the International Labor Organization Convention on Domestic Work.

And our movement continues to move towards new victories. In California, where the national CLASSY Awards will be held in September, we are on the verge of passing a Domestic Workers Bill of Rights — if you haven’t signed our petition in support of the bill, can you take a moment to do so now?
