NDWA Board of Directors

NDWA aims to reflect the diversity of our domestic worker membership through our staff and board of directors. The vast majority of workers in the industry are immigrant women and women of color, and ethnic composition varies geographically. Our 40+ affiliates reflect much of this diversity, and NDWA has taken additional steps to ensure that domestic worker leadership is recognized in every level of decision making, including our governance. NDWA’s Board of Directors is comprised of one domestic worker representative and one staff person from each of six affiliate organizations, elected by the membership.
